I am sure, like me, that you will be thinking about the victims and families of yesterday's (7 July 2005) tragic events in London.

You may wish to use the following prayer as we pray together for all those who have been touched by this tragedy.

God of all,
whose Son sacrificed his life
to unite us to you
and to one another;
pour down your grace
on those who lives have been scarred
by the tragedy of the London bombings,
and fill us with a greater determination
to build your kingdom
alongside those of every class and creed,
for the sake of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
