The Very Reverend David Ison to be Dean of Saint Paul's Cathedral
The Queen has approved the nomination of the Very Reverend David John Ison, BA, PhD, Dean of Bradford, in Bradford Diocese, to be appointed to the Deanery of the Cathedral of Saint Paul in London, on the resignation of the Very Reverend Graeme Paul Knowles, AKC, on 31 October 2011. |
Taize Services at Bradford Cathedral and young people's visit to Taize July 2012
Taize Prayer is planned to continue at 6.30pm on the second Sunday of each month in 2012, apart from May and August (do confirm with the Cathedral office nearer the time).
There will be a Bradford Diocesan visit to Taize (in France) for young people aged 16-29 from 7th to 16th July 2012.

baptised in the then Parish Church of St Peter Bradford on
18th July the same year

Bradford Cathedral working with Orison is
excited to host a four day event for schools
focused on prayer and spirituality
for children and young people of all ages.
All schools are invited to visit the Cathedral to take part in
this event. Pupils will have the opportunity to engage with
prayer using creative, hands on activities which are fun,
interactive, thought provoking and challenging.

of music.
We are proud to continue that tradition and

and thriving choir of boys, girls
and adults.
The Choir plays an integral part in the life of
the Cathedral, providing regular choral
worship throughout the year, as well as
making an important contribution to major
Church and Civic Festivals.
Having a son or daughter who is a chorister is
a commitment for the whole family but there
are great rewards.
